I am back
After some encouragement from Katie and technical advise from Cassie (thanks girls), I am back as a blogger. Earlier today I posted a blog about our recent trip to see Mimi but then realized that the email distribution list was no longer there. So I have gone to the new format and, hopefully, you will get an email concerning this blog and then can go to my blog page to see the earlier blog about Mimi. The crew is almost finished putting in the new pool liner and the next step is to fill the pool. Picture on that post to follow.
March Trip to VA
Becky and I drove to Charlottesville, VA to see my mother for several days earlier this month and also visited my father's gravesite at South Plains Presbyterian Chuch. The new administration building of the church has been completed and the church appears to be growing. I have been encouraged by Katie to get back into blogging so will try to do better. Mom has lost some weight but, otherwise, is doing well at 96.

Washington Comes to Middle Tennessee VI
I am way behind on blogging but the following is the final installment of Rachel, Adde and Payne's visit to Tennessee in March. These were taken a few days before they left and when Justin, Mandy and James were back with us. It was sad at the time to see them leave but NOW we know that they all will be back with us in the south in six weeks.

A goodbye picture at the airport. No longer sad to see it since they all are coming back home soon.

Washington Comes To Tennessee V - Parker Branch
Becky took these pictures when Rachel, Adde and Payne went to Parker Branch to see the cousins along with Justin, Mandy and James so I can only guess what is going on. March seems so long ago since they were all here but this August is going to be a special month. We all have wanted them back in the south when the time was right for them to come "home" but I am struggling to accept Oklahoma as a part of the confederacy. I have been told that on a real clear day you can see Arkansas from Grove so I guess they will be back in the "south".

Washington comes to Middle TN III - Bale Jumping
In the last few months, our supply of spoiled hay, that partially rings the outside of the garden, has been a great discovery for the grand kids with Caleb and Anna Blair making great fun in jumping from one rolled bale to another in the snow. Adde also made the discovery and spent some fun time learning the finer points of bale jumping with some minor assistance from others. James wasn't ready to make the big jump yet but maybe during his next visit.

James is not quite ready
